Dr. Mansoor Hassab El Nabi addressed the symposium. He assumed that Quran always opens new horizons of thoughts for thinkers and scientist. He emphasized that the right types of science and knowledge leads, always, to faith and believe. He confirmed that there is no contradiction between science and Quran. Therefore scientist must initiate their theories carefully and religious scholars must interpret the Quranic verse correctly. The Part The Guru Left Out PDF Print E-mail

In this article I'm going to lay things on the line concerning a couple of phrases you may have heard being banded around spirituality circles. I'm doing this because I think we all owe it to ourselves to develop a fuller relationship with certain areas of our lives. Through the experience of doing this, we can grow.

One of the favourite phrases I hear in New Age spirituality is: 'Give what you want to get.' If you want money, you give money and money comes back to you. Another quote I hear in spirituality is the old Gandhi quote, 'Be the change you want to see' or it's sister, 'Act as if.'

Spirituality and Money

For many people The idea of 'Giving money to get money' hasn't worked. And why should it? If you're only going to give in the hope or expectation o ...

Most people wear an outer mask of who they want others to think they are. One thing is for certain, however, and that is God truly knows who you are regardless of who you say you are or who you try to make others think you are. And....you even deceive yourself into believing who you are.

The Secrets Of Zodiac Marriage PDF Print E-mail

If the people born in these domains - Fire, Earth, Air, and Water - embody the qualities of their triplicities, it must be plain to the thoughtful student that the cause of many an unhappy marriage can be traced to the attempted union of uncongenial elements. This has always been ascribed as a reason, though until recently very vague notions have been held in regard to the causes of such uncongeniality.

We have witnessed the most crucial suffering of married people, for which neither wife nor husband could ascribe any adequate cause. We have observed the quick repulsions which have taken place after marriage, and which grew into unendurable hatred. We have seen the constant wife broken-hearted because of her husband's inconstancy, and faithful, noble husbands made ...

Within Christian circles is known the term "legalism." We know it when we see it, couldn't possibly be guilty of it, but know someone who is. When pressed to define it, the bottom line answer is, "Not what we're doing."

Spiritualism's Tools And The Last Days PDF Print E-mail

Spiritualism is a religion whose basic appeal is contacting the dead. Some of the members of the spiritualists attend séances, promote methods of healing and investigate psychic phenomena. Some people become involved in spiritualism because they seek excitement. Most people join into spiritualism due to losing a loved one and they are going through a period of grief. They feel lost and vacant and the idea of conversing with the dead is appealing. Also, the idea of receiving direction from one in the spirit would be very assuring.

From Toledo To Jerusalem PDF Print E-mail

Why would a blond, "non-Jewish" American want to emmigrate to Israel? What's the connection? Especially when so few Jews in the United States are willing to make the move. What force would drive someone to travel to Israel 11 times, serve in 8 kibbutzim and even stay there during the Persian Gulf War, complete with gas mask, with his room designated as cheder atoom - "sealed room" - that other volunteers had to run to whenever the eerie sirens sounded that another Scud Missile was headed for the Promised Land? Why would such an individual risk arrest, defamation and deportation to participate in legal demonstrations in Jerusalem? The first time I visited Israel was with the Worldwide Church of God in 1980 to celebrate Sukkot - the biblical Feast of Tabern ...

WISH PDF Print E-mail

W i s h O Allah! The practices of all these people are so tiresome, That even within their midst I feel so lonesome. The noise of the world urges me to run away To a quiet place where silence begins and ends each day. A place where movement will always yield to stillness, And speech is completely awed by silence. Sometimes I feel I am dying for this quietness; To live in a hut near a mountain will be pure bliss. The worries of the world burden me greatly, and from them I wish to part Then I can live in solitude while the thorns of sadness leave my heart. These birds who sit in the tree singing all day long... Their chirping is beautiful and will be my song. When I am in need of music I will listen to the waterfall's sound. Harmony existing between the birds' song ...
